The JazzAmp 12 was specifically engineered for acoustic bass. Incredibly pure, it will continue to amplify the acoustic sound of your bass at any volume. Although designed for bass, this amp also sounds incredible for guitar. Due to the 12 speaker and the increased enclosure size, it might best be described as having more presence or a little natural reverb when compared to the 10 model.
Size: The JazzAmp 12 is 14" x 15 " x 13" and weighs in at 29 pounds.
Price: Suggested retail of $995 and is now available directly from us for us for a special introductory price of $749.
Power:Maximum power on the JazzAmp 12 is 160 watts at 4 ohms (this requires an extension cabinet). As shipped with a single 8 ohm speaker it delivers 120 watts which is twice the power of the JazzAmp 10. Note that all of that power will only increase the distortion free SPL by 4db from 111 db to 115 db. The purpose of the power is for headroom on frequencies below 200hz. Due to the high power it is fan cooled.
